To meet this requirement, the Navy intends to issue a modification to contract N00164-95-D-0007, which was awarded as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum of 24 systems on a full and open competition basis. A sole source basis modification will be issued to Alpha Scientific Electronics, Inc. in Hayward, CA, who manufactured the first 24 systems. Each system must interface with software that was written and developed based on the systems presently operating.
