Williams, Contracting Officer, (205) 955-1187 The U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command (USASSDC), Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting agency responsible for this procurement action. This action will be a sole-source modification issued to the existing Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS) Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD)/Production contract DASG60-94-C-0073 with Aerojet Electronic Systems, Azusa, California. The basic JTAGS contract is a cost-plus-fixed-fee type, and a cost-plus-fixed-fee modification will be negotiated for this action. The proposed follow-on acquisition is for the technical assistance and support services required for the operation of a backup processor for the OCONUS JTAGS units which were developed and supported by Aerojet under previous USASSDC contracts. The period of performance is 31 Mar 97 through 30 Sep 97. See Note 22. (0037)
