Neider, Contracting Officer This solicitation will result in several contracts being awarded for Cultural Resources Services. We expect to award five contracts encompassing 12 projects and approximately 92,000 acres. Their services include inventories and/or evaluations of Cultural Resources on the Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota. These contracts will be issued as Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantities (IDIQ). Individual projects will be issued as Task Orders. The estimated minimum quantity per Task Order is 3,250 acres. The maximum will be 80,000 acres. This solicitation requires a technical and cost proposal. The technical proposal will be evaluated in accordance with the following factors; 1) technical approach, 2) past performance, 3) experience, and 4) cost. The cost proposal will not be project specific. It should contain adequate information for an evaluation panel to determine if task order pricing will be fair and reasonable. Each task order issued will be further evaluated as to price and any project specific technical requirements. All task orders will be awarded prior to 9/30/97. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (0037)
