The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), acting through the USAID Mission to Egypt (USAID/Egypt), intends to do a noncompetitive Contract for Architect and Engineering Services with an Egyptian company, the Architectural Group (AG) in Cairo, Egypt. The contract will be for the completion of the design of the Federation of Egyptian Industries Building (FEI) for a six month period, assist with the selection of a construction contractor, and provide construction management oversight. The AG has been working on this building for a number of years, but due to a lack of funding was not able to complete the design work. The construction portion is estimated to be 20 months.
