The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a competitive solicitation for a firm fixed-price (FFP), indefinite-delivery, and indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for non personal services to furnish all labor, materials and contract services necessary to provide for ADPE maintenance and software support of specified hardware and software for the AMC Central Site Computer SUN SPARCcenter 2000's, HQ AMC/SC Data Repository Sun SPARCcenter 2000, and Consolidated Aerial Port Subsystems II (CAPS II) Sun SPARC1000's and SPARCsystem 630MP's. Services are anticipated to be provided at eight (8) CONUS and fifteen (15) OCONUS locations: Scott AFB IL; Lackland AFB TX; Travis AFB CA; Dover AFB DE; Charleston AFB SC; McChord AFB WA; McGuire AFB NJ; NAS Norfolk VA; Rhein-Main AB GE; Yokota AB Japan; Andersen AFB Guam; Elmendorf AFB AK; Hickam AFB HI; Howard AFB Panama; Incirlik AB Turkey; Kadena AB Japan; NAS Rota Spain; NAS Sigonella Spain; Osan AB Korea; Mildenhall RAF UK; Ramstein AB GE; Aviano AB, Italy; and Naples Italy. The anticipated contract performance period is a basic period of one year plus four one-year option periods. Alternate proposals will not be accepted. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 7378 with the Small Business size standard at $18M. The RFP is anticipated to be released in March 1997. All SDBs and SBs interested in responding to this solicitation should submit a capability statement to include a corporate resume detailing expertise and prior experience with similar projects by 27 Feb. All interested offerors shall indicate their business size (i.e., large, small or small disadvantaged), their telephone number, facsimile number, and ZIP PLUS FOUR code in their written request for the RFP.
