Allen, Contracting Officer, (703) 875-6020 The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has a requirement for labor and moving services for office and inter-office moves. Services include relocating office furniture, supplies, and equipment and dismantling, assembling, and erecting unitized office furniture, partitions and shelf files. Some support for official DOS functions are also required. The services shall be performed in Washington D.C., and at Virginia and Maryland locations within a 161 kilometer (100 miles) radius. A labor hour indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract is contemplated for one (1) year and four option years. The estimated starting date is July 1, 1997. This solicitation will be released on or about February 28, 1997, as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Large Businesses will not be considered for the contract. For the purpose of this solicitation, the SIC Code is 4212, and the small business size standard is $18.5 million. To qualify as a small business under this solicitation, a small business is a concern and its affiliates have average annual receipts for the preceding three years not in excess of $18.5 million. The solicitation utilizes sources selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
