POC Bill Wise, Contracting Officer, 513/366-2025 The U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency has a requirement for an upgrade to the PBX systems
located at its facilities in Corvallis and Newport, Oregon. The purpose
of this upgrade is to provide voicemail capabilities at the Newport
site, which is the Hatfield Marine Science Center located at 211 SE
Marine Science Drive. The Newport facility currently has a NEAX-2400
Sims 2081. The selected Contractor shall upgrade the Newport machine
from RDS to a 5200, Release 2, using an MDS upgrade. The object of this
upgrade is to provide CCIS networking between the Newport location and
the Corvallis facility, located at 200 SW 35th Street, Corvallis, OR.
EPA will use this link to expand the Corvallis voicemail capabilities
to include the Newport facility. EPA will supply and program the
Kentrox CSU/DSU for the bandwidth needed for both voice and data,
utilizing a T-1 circuit. Aside from the Government-furnished equipment
described above, the Contractor shall provide all labor and materials
necessary to accomplishthe upgrade in such a manner that EPA can use
CCIS networking between the two facilities. A one-month performance
period is anticipated. Requests for RFQ 97-27 must be in writing to the
