61 -- CABLE ASSEMBLIES SOL N0025397Q0104 DUE 031997 POC Contact Point, Victor Angkico, 360-396-5671 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport intends to solicit for 228 each cable assemblies in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 6277244, Revision H. First Article will be required from all but proven sources. Delivery of the assemblies shall be approximately 30 weeks after award. Contractors should be aware that this assembly was originally intended to be supplied by the Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) but they could not locate the raw cable material required by the drawing. The assemblies are being acquired using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. The RFQ will be issued on or about 26 Feb 97 with a 3 week closing. No telephone requests for the RFQ will be accepted. Fax requests can be sent to (360) 396-2333. Numbered Note 26 applies. (0037)
