Hill, Contracting Officer, (214) 302-7522 Sealed bids will be accepted by this medical center for the award of a contract to purchase Ortho Diagnostic, Inc., or equal, consumables to be used in conjunction with Hemoliance laboratory reagents and controls. Further, the consumables must be compatible for use with an MLA Electra 1600C w/bad code station and Data Innovations data interface. If equal consumables are offered, the offeror must be able to show, through conclusive test data, that the offered product(s) will be compatible with the Hemoliance reagents and controls and an MLA Electra 1600C. An awarded contract shall be for a period of 12 months with two options to extend the term of the contract by 12 months each, not to exceed a contract period of total months. The solicitation shall also include a provision for the trade of two VA owned ACL laboratory instruments for a discount off the offered consumable price to be spread over the duration of the contract.
