Agency (DSWA) is seeking contractors with the capability of rapidly
responding to immediate requests to conduct Weapons System Safety
Assessments (WSSA). DSWA is looking to use Indefinite
Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contracts for this effort. The
objective of this effort is to provide DSWA's Safety Assessment Branch,
the capability, and contract vehicle, to quickly respond to request for
safety assessment, or special studies, of nuclear weapons systems. The
ID/IQ contracts will be used to issue Task Orders on specific tasks in
a timely manner and with accurate information. It will be used to
rapidly respond to request for WSSAs. The goal of the WSSA (the end
product) will be to quantify the frequency of hazardous material
dispersal. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. All requests for the
RFP must be in writing. Faxed requests are acceptable and should be
faxed to the attention of Susan Benik at (703) 325-9291. If the request
