The US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) proposes award for the development of the Intelligent Concurrent Design for Production (ICDP) Software System for Resin Transfer Molded (RTM) composites. Development involves the establishment of the intelligent concurrent engineering design to production methodology for RTM. The contractor will be required to develop the part design, process, mold tool and economic knowledge blocks and integrate them into the RTM ICDP software system. Following shall be furnished by contractor upon contract completion: 1) complete operating software/hardware system; 2) demonstration of system through the optimum design of munition component; 3) final report on development status of the operating system software design.. ARDEC intends to award a sole source contract to Design & Manufacturing Institute, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ 07030 to avoid the extenuating duplication of costs.
