GUZMAN, Contracting Officer, Tel: Country Code 011 (671) 339-2252 The Contractor shall provide management, technical expertise, labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary to perform Maintenance & Repair Services of Various Small Engine Equipment (i.e. gas powered lawnmowers, weedeaters, and etc.) for the U.S. Navy Family Housing, Guam, M.I. The Contractor shall repair all equipment to its serviceable condition. Any component disassembled for repair shall be thoroughly cleaned and inspected for leaky, worn-out, corroded, and damaged gaskets, air filters, mufflers, etc. and appropriate repairs made. The Contractor shall make necessary adjustments for efficient, economical and safe performance of equipment. Cleaning of oil filters, applicable air filters, electrical contacts, motors, safety controls and any other applicable items shall be accomplished as part of the required maintenance. The work shall be located on the island of Guam. The tentative date for the issuance of specification is approximately 3/14/97. This date is tentative and is expected change once the specification package is complete. The specification can be picked up from the address in block 7, first floor, PWC Complex, Building 101. A request to participate in this acquisition will be mailed without charge upon request. All requests shall be mailed to the address stated in block 7, with the title clearly marked on the request, attention to Mr. Stephen M. Pastore or Ms. Barbara Dozier. All bids shall be received by 2:00 pm, Guam time, April 15, 1997. All bidders are advised that if you are not interested in this solicitation but would like to be considered on future solicitations, please indicate so. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Those prospective offerors who are Small Businesses are invited to participate in this procurement. There will be no charge for the solicitation documents. However, all bidders are advised the solicitation is limited and will be furnished on a first-received, first-served basis. These services are to be performed under a Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity type Contract. The contract term will be for a base and four option periods of up to 12 months each with prices established at award.
