R -- MANAGEMENT SUPPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT FOR UNCF MEMBER INSTITUTIONS SOL F49642-97-R-0041 POC Lisa Romney, Contracting Officer, (202) 767-8099 or Jana Gordin, Contract Specialist, (202) 767-7983 The 11th Contracting Squadron (11 CONS/LGCX) intends to procure on a sole source basis with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), a one year firm fixed price contract to provide technical and management support in an effort to obtain greater participation of UNCF member institutions in Department of Defense (DOD) contracts and grants. Technical capabilities include: knowledge of the UNCF's member institutions and familiarity with their programs; general knowledge of non-profit, private HBCUs; general knowledge of executive orders, legislation, and Federal regulations pertaining to institutions of higher education (specifically HBCUs); general knowledge of legislation pertaining to the Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR); ability to provide instruction in contract / grant and / or proposal preparation; Federal market counseling; statistical and trend analysis; pre- / post award sponsored program administration; and information systems applications for both PC and Macintosh environments using mainstream applications. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
