R -- CURLEW WASTEWATER A&E DESIGN, PART I OF II SOL RFP RMAST-97-29 DUE 033197 POC Contact J.B. Hite, Procurement Assistant, 303/275-5274 Provide a complete wastewater disposal design for the Curlew Job Corps. The design will be based on an approved engineering report. The report has been approved by the Departments of Ecology (DOE) and Department of Health (DOH). It recommends reconstruction of failed absorption beds and separating the cafeteria waste stream with separate septic tanks and drainfields. The approximate Center population is 243 persons. The design shall contain plans, specifications and a cost estimate. It shall be approved by the DOE and DOH. All plans shall be provided on Autocad Version 13.0. All specifications shall be provided on Microsoft Word, Version 6.0 or 7.0, and shall be in CSI format. The evaluation priority weight (PW), is as follows: 1=low priority, 10=high priority. Evaluation factors are as follows: (1). Specialized experience and technical competence in doing wastewater system analysis in similar projects, PW=5; (2). Capacity to accomplish work in the required time, PW=5; (3). Knowledge of Washington State requirements for waste treatment systems, PW=5; (4). Professional capabilities, PW=3; (5). Past performance on contract of similar nature with respect to cost control, quality of work and compliance with the performance schedule, PW=3; (6). Geographical location and knowledge of locality of the project, provided that application of the criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project, PW=3; (0038)
