SYMPOSIUM, MARCH 24-27, 1997, NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL, MONTEREY, CA
This entire conference on combat and tactical vehicles is classified
up to and including SECRET USE ONLY. The Symposium's objective is to
bring together the various disciplines within the ground vehicle
survivability community to provide a forum for technical interchange of
the various aspects of ground vehicle survivability. The intent is to
provide a synergistic information flow between the several
survivability disciplines. In an environment of defense technology
down-sizing, this symposium serves to provide a basis for greater
cooperation between the Government-Industry team. Speakers include Mr.
Peter C. Woglom, Vice President and General Manager, Ground Systems
Division, United Defense L.P.; Major General Edward L. Andrews,
Commanding General, U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command;
Major General John F. Michitsch, Program Executive Officer, Ground
Combat and Support Systems; and Brigadier General Clayton E. Melton,
