Small Purchase Procedures will be used, and a written quote will be required. It is believed that the manufacturer (Varian Associates, Inc.) is the only source capable of providing the upgrade. The upgrade will include replacement of the collimator. The new collimator shall include independent upper collimator jaws. The anticipated award date is February 24, 1997. (0041)
