D -- REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF MOTOROLA LAND MOBILE RADIO EQUIPMENT SOL DAJA22-97-R-0015 POC Mary Cawthorne 011-49-611-816-2225 The Wiesbaden Regional Contracting Center intends to solicit proposals for an indefinite-quantity requirements type contract for the repair and maintenance of U.S. Government owned Motorola Land Mobile Radio equipment, to include Data Encrypted Standard (DES) equipment under the responsibility of USAREUR, to include the Office of the Provost Marshal and various other activities. Equipment is located at U.S. Army installations located within Belgium, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands. Required services shall be provided on an "on-call" basis and will include, but not be limited to: repair and maintenance of radio ntework components and intrusion detection systems; installation and removal of equipment in vehicles and fixed structures; and programming. The contract is expected to be for a base period of 6 months and 3-one year options. The minimum quantity will be one delivery order. The contractor shall provide per-call repair and maintenance support to include all labor, tools, test sets and repair parts; to include Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) DES modules when necessary. Logistic support will not be provided for any contract resulting from this solicitation.
