16 -- COMMON CRASHWORTHY TROOP SEAT PROGRAM SOL N00019-97-R-0013 POC Contact, Deirdre Chernomas, Phone (703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a small business set-aside solicitation for development and qualification of a crashworthy troop seat that can be implemented in the UH-1N (2BN), UH-1N (4BN), CH-46E/D, and UH-3H helicopters. This solicitation hereby cancels NAVAIR Synopsis No. 50072-96. Pursuant to FAR 19.703 (a) the following applies: This requirement is offered for limited competition to eligible Small Business Concerns, the SIC code for this requirement is 3728. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Small Business firms whose total number of employees does not exceed 1,000. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price with two production options for each helicopter. Each option will include up to 1600 seats for the UH-1N (2BN) and UH-1N (4BN), up to 10,000 seats for the CH-46E/D, and up to 800 seats for the UH-3H. All interested parties may request a copy of this solicitation.
