Chropuvka, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-96-G-0089 to the Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, New York for the following supplies and services: non-recurring engineering associated with integration of the Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) on F-14 aircraft; preparation of the technical directive; approximately 80 DFCS aircraft modification kits; and installation of aircraft modification kits on F-14 aircraft. As the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F-14 aircraft, Northrop Grumman is the only known firm who possesses the required knowledge, expertise, and experience to integrate the DFCS on F-14 aircraft in order to correct safety of flight deficiencies within the timeframe required.
