59 -- CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLIES SOL N0025397Q0108 DUE 041897 POC Contact Point-Julie Peterson 360-396-5673 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport (NUWCDK) requires the following spares for use in the Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System aboard the SEAWOLF submarine: 1) power supply, part number A1-98450, 2) circuit card assembly, part number A2-98696, 3) circuit card assembly, part number A1-98703, and 4) circuit card assembly, part number A2-98690. The Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System which these spares are to be used in was manufactured by Widney Aish Ltd. The design and specification information required to manufacture these units is proprietary to Widney Aish Ltd. The Government is unable provide the information necessary for a competitive procurement. Therefore the Government intends to negotiate this requirement with Widney Aish Ltd, Fleets House, Fleets Lane, Poole, Dorset, BH153BU, United Kingdome, on a sole source basis. This procurement will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 March 1997 with a 22 day closing.
