batteries at various ATON sites in the waters of Hampton Roads and York

Recovery of additional batteries. Performance period is estimated to
begin on or about 12 May 1997. Currently, the completion date has not
been established but will be included in the solicitation package.
THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED IN THE AMOUNT OF $25.00 PER
SOLICITATION PACKAGE. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. CERTIFIED

code (SIC) for this project is 7389 and the average size standard is
$5.0 million. This is an unrestricted procurement and is open to both
small and large business in accordance with the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program (Public Law 100-656). For a

Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to

acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
