The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) of the Department of Commerce has a follow-on requirement for preventive and remedial maintenance of a Government-owned ALS-200 Waferstep. The contractor shall provide all instrumentation, tools, tool kits, labor, parts and transportation necessary to maintain this equipment at warranty standards. The base contract is for six (6) months with one (1) option year. Concerns having the capability to furnish the above services should provide written capabilities within 45 days from the date of this synopsis. In the absence of qualified sources, it is the intent of the Government to award a sole source contract under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) to Integrated Solutions, Inc., 836 North St., Tewsbury, MA 01876, as this source is considered to be the only responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
