The General services Administration is issuing an indefinite quantity solicitation ON OR ABOUT MARCH 7, 1997, for Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) SIC 8742. The resultant, limited number of multiple award schedule contracts will be used on a non-mandatory basis by all Federal agencies in the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. Contract Period: October 1, 1997, or Date of Award through five (5) years, with five one-year options. Vendors will be required to be Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capable. Vendors are responsible for payment to Dunn and Bradstreet for past performance evaluation. The major elements of MOBIS are to supply products and/or services to support agencies in the implementation of management, organizational and business improvement efforts. Examples include but are not limited to: quality management, business process reengineering, strategic and business planning, surveys, benchmarking, strategic sourcing, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, activity based costing, statistical process control, organizational assessments, process improvements, process modeling and simulation, performance measurement, organizational design, change management and customer service training.
