Specialist, Penelope Kinney 301-415-6576 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission intends to negotiate on a competive basis for emergency
diesel generator training. The contractor shall be required to furnish
personnel, facilities, instructional material, and services to develop
and present an Emergency Diesel Generator course. The course should
provide NRC inspectors and supervisors with technical information and
hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of emergency
diesel generators with the primary emphasis on Four-stroke diesels. The
contractor's training facility must be capable of providing students
with hands-on experience in various aspects of emergency diesel
generators. A fixed priced requirements contract is anticipated with a
one year base period plus four one year options. Proposals for this
requirement may be submitted by all concerns, i.e., large businesses,
small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled by socially
and economically disadvantaged individuals. A source list comprising
the names, addresses,and telephone numbers of all concerns requesting
a copy of the solicitation, with large businesses identified by an
asterisk, will be provided with the solicitation. In order to identify
large businesses on the list, a request for the solicitation should
indicate the size of the business based upon a SIC code of 8999. The
size standard for this solicitation is $5.0M. In order to allow small
concerns sufficient time to contact you for possible subcontracting
opportunities, you are encouraged to make your request for the
solicitation prior to the solicitation issuance date. A copy of the
solicitation and all subsequent amendments will be provided to each
requester. Interested firms should submit written requests to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission at the address as shown above. Telephone
requests will not be honored. Closing date for proposals is 30 days
after issue date of solicitation which is anticipated to be on or about
