Following is the statement of work. Contractor to provide all labor and materials necessary to install an Exterior Insulation Finish System(EIFS)and aluminum coping on B-13 in accordance with the plans and specifications. The exterior of B-13 will have been lightly abrasive blasted by a previous contract. Contractor will make final surface preparations for and install the EIFS per manufacturer's recommended practice and plans and specifications. Contractor will install aluminum coping per plans and specifications. Contractor will seal joints in aluminum coping and at meeting point of EIFS and windows, doors, etc. per EIFS manufacturer's recommendations. Issue date for the solicitation is March 3, 1997. Estimated dollar range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Standard Industrial Code is 1742. Completion time is 90 days. There is a non-refundable fee of $10.00 for the solicitation package. Make check/money order payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All responsible sources may submit a bid which if timely received will be considered. BOD is April 2, 1997. Award is contingent upon availability of funding.
