The project consists of dredging and disposal of dredged material by hopper dredge portions of the Chincoteague Inlet Outer Channel to a required depth of 15 feet MLLW (NOS) with an allowable overdepth of two feet. Dredged material shall be placed in the designated Government-furnished overboard placement area only. The work involves dredging approximately 107,000 cubic yards of material, including allowable overdepth and estimated accretion from the survey dates to May 1997. Magnitude of project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Duration of the project is 60 calendar days. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. SIC Code 1629 applies.
