Compatibility and performance considerations dictate the following requirements for the VME multiprocessors to perform FFT's and other Signal Processing Functions: VME bus interface, VSB interface, FPDP interface that is 100% compatible with ICS's implementation of the FPDP, Net performance of 320 MFLOPS per 6U form factor board, Intel i860 based architecture, Math and Signal Processing Software libraries and toolkits written in ANSI C, Development software that will run on a SUN SPARC running Solaris 2.x, ability to interface with VME host computer running VXworks version 5.3. This VME Multiprocessor to be a Sky Computer Model 21147-V. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1.
