BRIGHT PLAN FORMULATION BRANCH (901) 544-0745 (Site Code DACW66) The Memphis District, Corps of Engineers, is seeking sources to perform essential multidisciplinary water resources planning, engineering, and research activities. The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing all services, materials, labor, and equipment (except that which is specified to be Government-furnished) required to perform the ordered work. The firm or institute will provide the necessary personnel and technology needed to make informed decisions concerning resource development and protection. The work includes specialized expertise in: groundwater modeling, analyses and research; Geographical Information System (GIS) compilation and database development; water quality sampling, testing, and analyses; wetlands identification and classification; other associated water resources studies and analyses; and planning support activities including: city and regional planning, economic projections and analyses, biological assessments, geomorphologic studies, cultural resources investigations, cinematography, graphic arts (including modeling), sociologic impact analyses, and public involvement activities. Studies, modeling, analyses, assessments, and research conducted will be in the areas of water supply, navigation, flood control, wastewater collection and treatment, and environmental protection and other water resources purposes.
