F -- FULL SERVIFCE ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIAL ACTION EFFORT AT MASSACHUSETTS MILITARY RESERVATION, CAPE COD, MA POC Ms. Diane C. Sharpe, Contracting Officer, (210) 536-4411. The Environmental Contracting Division (HSC/PKV), Brooks AFB, TX in support of the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) intends to issue a letter contract to Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., Pasadena, CA for Full Service Environmental Remedial Action efforts at the Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) valued at $131.1M. Various environmental technologies are contemplated for the continuation of efforts begun by Jacobs in Fiscal Year 96. The AFCEE intends to award this letter contract based on the authority in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) which states that services may be deemed to be available only from the original source when it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of costs to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
