K -- ASSEMBLY OF PRESSURE VESSELS SOL F40650-97-Q-0026 DUE 032697 POC Kathy P. Swanson, Contract Specialist, (615) 454-7841 This procurement is for the assembly of two pressure vessels from standard pipes and pipe components. One vessel is to be approximately 33.75 inches in diameter and 57 inches in length, fabricated for 600 psia service from 20" NPS pipe. The other vessel is to be approximately 34 inches in diameter and 112 inches in length, fabricated for 300 psia service from a 36" NPS pipe. Work will involve rolling of sheet metal, welding, and machining. Weld inspection and hydrostatic pressure test reports will be required. All material, except expendables, will be provided for fabrication of pressure vessels. Contractor will be responsible for pick up of components and delivery of finished items. Quantity -- 2 each.
