The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure in accordance with Far 6.1 acquisition support services to support the Navy's Outsourcing Support Office (OSO). The contractor will provide the contracting support for Commercial Activity (A-76) study assistance to the OSO, whose mission is to assist Navy and Marine Corps activities with identification and use of competitive opportunities and other alternatives to reduce infrastructure costs and obtain the best public and private source for a particular product or service. Multiple cost plus fixed fee indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts for a base year and four one-year options are anticipated. The estimated level of effort for the base year is 100,000 hours with an additional 125,000 hours for each option period for a total level of effort of 600,000 hours.
