It includes the mothballing of the energy plant which serves this area, renovating mechanical rooms (demolition), installing individual heating systems in 43 buildings. Equipment installation will include unit heaters, gas lines, gas meters/regulators, hot water boilers, steam boilers with condensate receivers, pumps, insulation, piping, electrical wiring, radio controlled controllers (FM), Energy Monitoring Control System (EMCS) controls. Other work will involve some demolition (asbestos removal), installation of three 30,000 gallon propane tanks, removal of underground tanks and fencing. Network Analysis System will be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Solicitation documents will be available March 5, 1997.
