Naval Research Laboratory plans to enter into a contract on other than full and open competition basis in order to awared a contract to Northrop Grumman Corporation,Electronic Sensors & Systems Division, to provide flight services support for test of AN/APG-66 Radar for F-16 Fighter. Northrop designed and built the radar and is now doing a mid-life upgrade for the equipment. Award will be made on the sole source basis because Northrop's Electronic Sensors & Systems Division is the only source of both the radar and test aircraft capable of flying the radar in an at-sea Fleet test enviroment.
