LENNON (914) 938-4998 (Site Code DAMA01) The United States Military Academy is soliciting for 7000 each athletic suits consisting of athletic jackets (7000 each) and athletic pants (7000 each). The contractor will be required to design, furnish and deliver the garments for the incoming class of 2001 and the remaining Corp of Cadets. Delivery schedule of 2400 each athletic suits on or about August 15, 1997, with the remaining quantity to be delivered in accordance with normal production plans. The Government contemplates the award of a fixed price contract as a result of this commercial item Request for Proposal to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, design, quality, experience and price respectively. All material to be supplied by the awardee. A sample suit shall be provided with the proposal for the Government evaluation of contractor design and compliance to specifications. The sample shall be of production quality and exemplify the highest quality work the contractor is capable of providing.
