The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a contract to Standard Technology, Inc., 6116 Executive Blvd, .Seventh Floor, Rockville, MD 20852 for the Assessment of Marine Corps Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Program at both the Secret (GCCS) and the Top Secret (GCCS-T) levels. The Assessment Report will: (1) provide the status of the Marine Corps GCCS-T program, (2) identify Joint program concerns, both past and present, (3) identify and provide potential resolution to software interoperability issues between Marine Corps GCCS, GCCS-T and Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) C4I, and joint GCCS, (4) provide the status of software licenses installed on the GCCS application servers and identify future license requirements, (5) provide traceblility between new GCCS applications and those used by legacy systems, identifying the differences, (6) provide the operational status of installed hardware and identify additional hardware needed, (7) provide Marine Corps Secret IP Routed Network (SIPRNET) connectivity data, (8) assess past funding profile and provide new funding requirements for FY97 and FY98 installations, and (9) review all past and present GCCS related documents. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Written responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement.
