Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS) requires maintenance for Troy Checkprint Systems software. We intend to negotiate on a sole source basis with Troy Systems, Inc., 2331 S. Pullman Street, Santa Ana, CA 92705. Troy Check Printer Systems are stand alone units each housing a Data General computer which contains proprietary operating and applications software which manages and runs the check printing and postal barcode printing activities. These systems are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kansas City, Missouri, Birmingham, Alabama, Chicago, Illinois, Austin, Texas and San Francisco, California. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing maintenance, documentation and other support services required for the support of the software. The period of performance will be from contract award through September 30, 1997 with three one year options. Contractors with the capability to furnish the required services shall provide technical capability statements within 15 days after notice of publication.
