As anticipated in the Draft Solicitation dated December 20, 1996, and the Pre-Solicitation Conference held on January 17, 1997, the DOE/AL intends to procure "Preparation of EISs, EAs and Supporting Environmental Documentation for the DOE." The objective of this contract is the preparation of DOE's EISs and EAs, Environmental Reports, and supporting documentation. Work will be performed for all DOE sites and programs nationwide. The specific EIS and EA activities to be performed under this acquisition will be issued on individual task orders from any DOE program or site. The DOE/AL anticipates the award of multiple contracts. Target award date is August 1997. The Government intends to award without discussions. The total term of the contract will consist of a basic period of performance of three years, and two one-year option periods.
