The work will include, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances, devices and materials, and performing all operations necessary to complete the following: partial building and site demolition, exterior building renovations including a partial brick veneer, construction of a new truck dock and canopy, site redevelopment and all site utilities, and complete interior renovation including building electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The total project comprises approximately 19,000 SF. of floor space on an approximately 2.7 acre site. The renovated building will contain a retail store, workroom, loading dock and equipment, and support areas. The existing construction is essentially load bearing masonry walls with an interior post and beam column line running the length of the 180 ft. long structure with concrete slab on grade floor, steel roof joists, and gypsum deck. The majority of the existing roof will remain. New interior construction work consists primarily of metal stud and gypsum board partitions with acoustical ceilings, complete new plumbing for toilet and locker rooms, and power, lighting, alarm and closed-circuit television camera systems. A new HVAC system will be composed primarily of rooftop units. Site development includes customer and employee parking, covered postal vehicle parking and loading, loading dock, maneuvering area, mail drop area, and complete landscaping, fencing, signage, and storm sewerage. The facility is located in Summit County. The estimated price range is between $1,500,000.00 and $1,900,000.00 with completion within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
