The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price supply-type contract for a commercially available Computer Line Pattern Design and Engraving System for use in the Washington, D.C. facility. The system shall consist of a recorder/scanner, computer design work station, plotter, engraving work station, interfaces, software and associated equipment, cables, and peripherals. The system shall produce, manipulate, output and store sophisticated, intricate line patterns, rulings, images, and other elements of security documents design.
