41 -- UPGRADE C-PLANT REFRIGERATION SYSTEM SOL F40650-97-R-0016 DUE 041097 POC Alan Fudge, Contracting Officer, 615-454-4406 Upgrade seven existing Carrier refrigeration systems in the second, third, and fourth stages of the pressurized air coolers in the Engine Test Facility C-Plant at Arnold Engineering Development Center Tennessee. Each of the seven systems shall be renovated to convert from R12 refrigerant to R134a refrigerant. Each system is composed of a refrigeration unit, brine circulation system, and heat exchanger coils. Rated tonnage capacity of the seven systems are: one system at 3800 tons, two systems at 3500 tons, three systems at 3333 tons, and one system at 2200 tons.
