The US Army Space & Terrestrial Communications Dir.(S&TCD) is conducting research for the developmentof a tactically deployable, Type I Secure, IS-95 cellular communication system. S&TCD has prepared a white paper describing the functional characteristics a tacttically deployable cellular communication system would have. This white paper clarifies Broad Agency Announcement(BAA) DAAB07-94-R-D015, Topic S020 entitled "Digital Battlefield Communications". Parties interested in obtaining a copy of the white paper should contact Mr. Jay Staba no later than 25 February. Any subsequent proposal concepts submitted to Mr. Staba should not exceed ten pages in length with no more than six pages of attached drawings and/or data sheets.
