C -- BURIAL AREA-DEVELOP; RENOVATIONS TO ADMINISTRATION & MAINTENANCE BLDGS SOL RFP871-144-97 DUE 032197 POC Edwin Mendez, Contracting Officer 787-766-5559 A&E services in the design for the Puerto Rico National Cemetery for Project title: Burial Area -- Develop; Renovations to Administration and Maintenance Buildings, Project No. 871 CM3 019. Design includes the development of specifications, drawings, construction cost estimates and proposed construction schedule based on conceptual plans provided by the National Cemetery System and VA project team. Project includes the development of gravesites including necessary drainage, roads, and landscaping; complete the paved road system in the cemetery; and renovation work to the existing Administration Building and Maintenance Building. A&E firm will develop the Schematic Plans,Design Development Plans (2 reviews), and the Construction Documents as per requirements of VA Handbook H-08-15, Volume C. The A&E firm shall have a comprehensive knowledge, experience, facilities, etc. to complete necessary bidding documents, site evaluation, as-built drawings and survey work within 180 calendar days after project award. This is not a request for proposal. Firms with reference qualifications are invited to submit Standard Form 254 and 255 to the issuing office of this procurement, Attn: Mr. Edwin Mendez not later than March 21, 1997.
