This requirement is an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Study and a contract will not be awarded if government performance is determined to be more advantageous than contractor-provided services. Work includes organizational maintenance of approximately 2100 trainers including Meteorological and Navigational Equipment, Combined Integrated Avionics Electronic Warfare System, Computer, Special Computer, Weather and Control Radar, Ground Radar, Ground Radio, Digital and Analog Communications and Security, and Space Systems Equipment. Requires top secret security clearance for approximately two to four contract employees. Requirement also includes a Type IIB PMEL function that supports approximately 15,000 items annually. This function provides regional support for customers such as the Air National Guard and Navy. A mobilization period will be provided 1 Feb 99 -- 30 Mar99. Services shall be performed at Keesler AFB beginning 1 Apr 99 -- 30 Sep 99 with four one -year options to extend beginning 1 Oct 99. This procurement is unrestricted.
