indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery multiple contract for 5 years.
Up to three contracts will be awarded based on geographical zones
(North, Central, and South) for the Idaho Panhandle National Forests.
Mineral retracement experience required. Licensed Idaho or Washington
surveyor required for all projects. Firms having a current (submitted
after 10/1/96) SF-254 on file with the Idaho Panhandle National Forests
need not file again, but must submit a completed SF-255 for this
project by April 1, 1997, C.O.B., to the Idaho Panhandle National
Forests, 3815 Schreiber Way, Coeur d Alene, Idaho 83814, ATTN: David
Hallen. All other firms must submit both a completed SF-254 and SF-255
by the above due dates. To obtain forms, call 208-765-7497. In order
for a firm to be considered, they must show proof of qualification for
the professional(s) in charge by providing the following: States
registered in, state registration number, date of registration and
registration expiration date. Firms responding to this announcement
before the closing date will be considered for selection, subject to
any limitations indicated with respect to size and geographic location
of firm, specialized technical expertise or other requirements listed.
Following an initial evaluation of the qualification and performance
data submitted, three or more firms considered to be the most highly
qualified to provide the type of services required, will be chosen for
negotiation. Selection of firms for negotiation shall be through an
order of preference based on demonstrated competence and qualifications
necessary for the satisfactory performance of the type of professional
services required, that include: (1) Professional qualifications
necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2)
Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work
required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4)
Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private
industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with
performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of
the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that
application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified
firms, given the nature and size of the project; (6) Additional points
may be assigned or credit given to potential contractors that are or
will subcontract with certified 8(a) or other small disadvantage
