The project consists of new work dredging and disposal of dredged material by hydraulic dredge and pipeline from Guilford Creek Channel to a required depth of 6 feet with 1 foot of allowable overdepth. The work consists of preparation of the Guard Shore unconfined beach placement site, including removal and disposal of debris and similar hazards from the placement area and excavation and transplantation of wetland vegetation from the placement area to a nearby area, and construction of a riprap groin. Dredged material shall be placed in the designated Government-furnished unconfined beach placement site only, The work involves dredging approximately 45,100 cubic yards of material, including 14,900 cubic yards of allowable overdepth. Magnitude of project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Duration of the project is 60 calendar days. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code 1629 applies.
