Contracting Officer This requirement is for the purchase of fourteen
types of Transit Cases, 6 of each type, for a total of 84 cases in
accordance with Government Drawings and a Product Specification. The
primary function of the Transit Cases shall be to transport and be
capable of storing the enclosed equipment. Equipment stored varies with
the type of case. The cases shall be stackable and interlocking. Some
physical characteristics of the cases are as follows: Cases shall be
capable of supporting the weight superimposed by 4 like cases each
loaded with 130 pounds. They shall be water vapor proof, have an
automatic pressure relief valve, and have a humidity indicator. The
case shall be capable of withstanding a temperature range and humidity
of -62 to 85 degrees C @ 95% RH. There shall be at least eight clasps
with proportional spacing to draw the case sections together and
securely hold them in a closed position. Handles shall be spring loaded
and shall fold in a down position when released. The color of the case
shallbe powder grey also referred to as in FED-STD-595-26440. The
material shall be made of metal with a tensile strength capable of
resisting stretches over the range of Non-operating temperature. Each
case shall be labeled according to the appropriate drawing. Delivery
shall be FOB Destination to NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane Indiana within 220
days from effective date of contract award with inspection and
acceptance at destination. This action is 100% Set-Aside for Small
Business. Numbered Note 1 applies. All responsible sources may submit
