A -- ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD CALCULATIONS FOR INTEGRATED ELECTROMAGNETIC EFFECTS EFFORTS POC Michael Jackson, Negotiator, (703) 325-9211, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028. The proposed work is a modification of the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) contract numberDNA001-94-C-0134. The purpose of the modification is to specify added technical requirements to enhance electromagnetic coupling analysis capabilities of the High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse Targeting and Planning System (HEMPTAPS) software code; provide technical support for systems operability assessments with regard to integrated electromagnetic effects; develop a section for Effects Manual 1 (EM-1) to address System Generated Electromagnetic Pulse (SGEMP); and augment display features of the HEMPTAPS software based on user requirements. DSWA plans to award a sole source contract modification to Metatech Corporation, 358 S. Fairview Avenue, Goleta, CA 93117. DSWA believes that Metatech is the only source possessing the existing RDT&E expertise to adapt this specific requirement to meet this program requirement within the time required by DSWA and available funding. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement. See Note 22.
