Program seeks sources for the demonstration of enhanced turbojet engine
health monitoring and prognostic diagnostics technologies. Sources
interested in presenting innovative approaches and possible solutions
should contact the personnel listed below by 14 March 1997. Enhanced
health monitoring and diagnostics technologies which significantly
improve JSF propulsion system safety, supportability, and affordability
are desired. Proposed technologies must have sufficient maturity for
demonstration in FY99 ground engine testing. The JSF Program Office is
particularly interested in innovative technologies that reliably sense
impending failure and/or rapidly detect malfunctions before progressing
to catastrophic failure. Any technical questions should be directed to
