sought for fabrication of 265,000 Grenade Body Assemblies, consisting
of a cylindrical end capped steel body that is 1.22 inches on the outer
diameter, and approximately 1 inch on the inner diameter for a stacking
length of 1.8 inches. The interior of the body contains a Rhombus
fragmentation pattern that is scored into the interior. No distortion
of this pattern is permitted in any forming operation. The assembly
consists of stacking two studs to the end cap of the grenade body.
These grenade body assemblies will be used in the M80 grenade, which is
part of the cartridge, 105mm DPICM M915 system. It is anticipated that
delivery be made within 5 months after contract award, on a firm-fixed
price basis. Firms with experience in the area cited above should
provide at no cost, a summary of their firms capabilities within 15
days of this publication to Commander, US Army ARDEC, ATTN:
AMSTA-AR-FSA-M, Mr. Ed Ackerman, Bldg. 3305, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ
07806-5000. Respondents to this notice will not be notified either of
the receipt or the assessment of the information submitted. Respondents
are to indicate their business size standards. This market survey is
