This project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The services required includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform ground maintenance services in a professional workmanlike manner. The Contractor must be fully equipped with approved standard turf maintenance equipment. Equipment must be suited to the area being cut so that a satisfactory job is accomplished. The Contractor must also have the required NJ state certifications for the application of pesticides. The contractor shall give his personal attention to the work and shall employ and retain at the premises, while work is in progress, a competent foreman or superintendent. At least one of the contractor's labor force shall be a skilled gardener who has a thorough knowledge of lawn maintenance and the care of plant materials. The resultant contract will be a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity type contract. The standard industrial classification code for this procurement is 0782, average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $3,500,000.00. The contract term commences 15 days after notice of award and ends 31 December 1997, with Government options to extend the contract term for additional periods.
